In the army discussion below troop types are described in the format:
Light Foot (Brittle -2): 1 pts each
+3/+2, missile defense +3, move 5 MU
Which means (for this example) that the base troop type to be used in Fantasy Triumph is Light Foot, and they should have the Brittle battle card. Brittle reduces the cost by 2 points. The base cost of Light Foot is 3 pts, so with Brittle each stand costs 1 point. The numbers that follow are the combat factors and movement as specified in Fantasy Triumph (as modified by the battle cards).
All four of the kaiju of the Empire of the Apes function the same in Fantasy Triumph terms.
The best representation for these kaiju in Fantasy Triumph is:
Behemoth (Deadly +2, Armored +1/2, Massive +0, Fast +1/2): 7 pts each
+6/+5, missile defense +3 (with Armored), move 5 MU
The paintjob of General Hondo, with its green armor, did not impress me, so I repainted him.

Airborne Apes are giant apes carrying bombs with their feet while employing enormous jet engines as a jetpack. Those figures are so great I had to figure out some way to use them in MonPoc Fantasy Triumph.
And here it is. Limited Spellblast covers the Airborne Ape bomb-droppers -- when the Carrier Blimp runs out of bombs, that's all it has for that battle.
The best representation for the mighty Ape Carrier Blimp in Fantasy Triumph is:
War Wagon (Flying Fast +2, Massive +0, Limited Spellblast (Physical) +3): 8 pts each
+3/+4, missile attack +3 plus a separate +5 Spellblast, missile defense +3 (with Armored), move 4 MU (costs an extra command point to move)

A unit of Howitzer Apes can lay down a devastating battery of fire.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Shooter (no battle cards): 4 pts each
+2/+4, missile attack +3, missile defense +3, move 3 MU
Sneaky apes!
The best representation for these units in Fantasy Triumph is:
Skirmisher (no battle cards): 3 pts each
+2/+1, missile defense +3, move 5 MU
I'm mostly unimpressed with these figures. In a skirmish game they would be fine, but representing part of an army, are they carrying around armored trucks because that's what they like to hit people with? Do they have a supply chain to resupply with new armored trucks when the old ones are destroyed or too damaged to wield? Maybe I should substitute a bunch of rocks between their hands.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Heavy Foot (no battle cards): 3 pts each
+4/+3, missile defense +3, move 3 MU
The fiercest combatants in the Ape army are armed with spiked gauntlets, and they attack with a fury purely devastating to their foes.
These figures are D&D 25mm plastic prepaints, but they mix in fine with the other Empire of the Apes figures.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Warband (no battle cards): 3 pts each
+3/+2, missile defense +3, move 4 MU
Powersuits make these units among the most effective infantry possible.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Elite Foot (no battle cards): 4 pts each
+5/+3, missile defense +3, move 3 MU
These figures are actually Monsterpocalypse 2.0 figures -- they are cast pewter (like most commercial miniatures) and sold unpainted. They fit in well with the rest of the Empire of the Apes figures, though.
When the Empire of the Apes wants greater range than its redoubtable Howitzer Apes, it employs batteries of apes wearing katyusha rocket backpacks.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Artillery (no battle cards): 3 pts each
+2/+4, missile attack +3, missile defense +3, move 3 MU
Some giant ape tribes are quite primitive. Since they are huge, they can still fight for the Empire of the Apes. Two types of these units have been identified -- the jungle-dwelling Tribal Apes, and the mountain and arctic-dwelling Yeti Infantry. Both function the same way.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Light Foot (no battle cards): 3 pts each
+3/+2, missile defense +3, move 5 MU
These figures are repainted Mage Knight figures (called "Demolishing Apes") that are the perfect scale, not MonPoc figures at all. The original weapons sucked, so are replaced with brass rod or custom weapons. Note also that plastic figures are very good for modifications -- slice off an arm (or forearm) and glue it back to get a different pose. All of these figures started as the same single pose.

"Giant" is something you might call these gorillas if you met them alone, as they are the size of a small truck. But in the Empire of the Apes, that's kinda small. Still, they are effective skirmisher units.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Rabble (no battle cards): 2 pts each
+2/+1, missile defense +3, move 4 MU
These figures are soft plastic party toys of some sort that I found on Etsy. The seller's name was Sugarblushstudio.
Fantasy Triumph hero stands for the Empire of the Apes forces can be based on the Command Ape or Stealth Ape, or for some purposes the Rocket Ape and others.
Some possibilities for battle cards for heroes would be:
Stealth Ape (no battle cards): 1 pts each. Still very useful for command control purposes when fighting in difficult terrain and out of command range of the general.
Rocket Ape (Marksman +1): 2 pts each.
Command Ape (Hearten +1 or Deadly +2): 2 or 3 pts each.
