Rhudaur: TA 861 - TA 1409
Ettenmoors: TA 1300 - TA 1975
Rhudaur was one of the three breakaway kingdoms created in TA 861 by the split of Arnor between the three sons of Argaleb, last king of Arnor.  Most of the population was of Hillman descent, and of the three successor kingdoms, the blood of Numenor failed in Rhudaur first. Regular conflict occurred with Cardolan and Arthedain, the other two kingdoms, usually focused on the possession of Amon Sul (Weathertop) and the Palantir there.
Around TA 1300 the Witch-king of Angmar became established nearby. By TA 1356 Rhudaur was a vassal of Angmar. In 1409 Angmar completely subsumed Rhudaur.
After the defeat of Angmar TA 1975 the Witch King briefly fled to the Ettenmoors, and then to Mordor. The Ettenmoors and Trollshaws were always lightly populated by Hillman tribes; after Gondor’s victory and the destruction of Angmar the survivors in those regions diminished into sparse hamlets and no longer had sufficient numbers to muster an army.
