This page includes my recommendations for appropriate miniatures in 28mm scale for the armies of Tolkien in the Second and Third Ages.

As always with miniatures, this is not an exclusive list -- many other possibilities exist, and more will become available in the future, and (sadly) good figure ranges available at the time of writing will become unavailable.

My Tolkien armies are all 28mm scale; if you seek 15mm figures, use these figure recommendations as a style guide, but find your figures elsewhere.
