The Molloks (Mole-men) are an underground race, only recently discovered when they came up to attempt to overthrow and destroy the surface dwellers.
In the army discussion below troop types are described in the format:
Light Foot (Brittle -2): 1 pts each
+3/+2, missile defense +3, move 5 MU
Which means (for this example) that the base troop type to be used in Fantasy Triumph is Light Foot, and they should have the Brittle battle card. Brittle reduces the cost by 2 points. The base cost of Light Foot is 3 pts, so with Brittle each stand costs 1 point. The numbers that follow are the combat factors and movement as specified in Fantasy Triumph (as modified by the battle cards).
The Molloks use a bastard mixture of technology and biology. Drillcon-Vorrionik is a fine example of their techniques.
The best representation for these kaiju in Fantasy Triumph is:
Behemoth (Deadly +2, Armored +1/2, Massive +0, Away +1/2): 7 pts each
+6/+5, missile defense +3 (with Armored), move 4 MU, cost an extra command point to move
Drillcon-Vorrionik
Hammerklak-Korvissik
Hammerklak-Korvissik is quite similar to Drillcon-Vorrionik in destructive ability, and (like it) can move underground with ease. Lacking functional legs, though, it is a bit less mobile on the battlefield.
The best representation for these kaiju in Fantasy Triumph is:
Behemoth (Deadly +2, Armored +1/2, Massive +0, Away +1/2, Slow -1/2): 6.5 pts each
+6/+5, missile defense +3 (with Armored), move 3 MU, cost an extra command point to move
The Molloks use a bastard mixture of technology and biology. Blastik-Rukivall is slightly less effective in close combat than some of their other kaiju, but it has effective blast weapons.
The best representation for these kaiju in Fantasy Triumph is:
Behemoth (Hearten +1, Armored +1/2, Massive +0, Away +1/2, Ranged Attack +1, Marksman +1): 8 pts each
+6/+5, missile attack +3, missile defense +3 (with Armored), move 4 MU, cost an extra command point to move
Drillcon-Vorrionik
Grindix-Birvikaan
This kaiju of the Mollok powers is akin to Hammerklak-Korvisik. Its deadly close-combat weapons are combined with a short-range blast weapon.
The best representation for these kaiju in Fantasy Triumph is:
Behemoth (Deadly +2, Armored +1/2, Massive +0, Away +1/2, Slow -1/2, Ranged Attack +1): 7.5 pts each
+6/+5, missile attack +2, missile defense +3 (with Armored), move 3 MU, cost an extra command point to move
The Mollok Brutes are among the most deadly close-combat fighters that aren't Kaiju.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Elite Foot (Deadly +2): 6 pts each
+6/+4, missile defense +3, move 3 MU
Huge digging claws make these units very effective in shock warfare, especially against close-order foot troops.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Warband (Hearten +1, Away +1/2, Slow -1/2): 4 pts each
+3/+2 (with Hearten), missile defense +3, move 3 MU
Massive digging beams are also effective against buildings, tanks, flesh...
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Pavise (Away +1/2): 4.5 pts each
+3/+3, missile attack +3, missile defense +3, move 3 MU
Mole creatures with mortars mounted are quite effective in the Overworld.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Bow Levy (Away +1/2): 2.5 pts each
+2/+3, missile defense +3, move 3 MU
Mollok digging vehicles are mobile and can quickly retreat when counterattacked.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Rabble (Away +1/2, Slow -1/2): 2 pts each
+2/+1, missile defense +2, move 3 MU
Grinder Tanks are the main Mollok answer for line of sighting (shooting) weapons, which are not as useful underground. While they are not as effective as the heavy weapons of GUARD grav tanks, they are still effective weapons, and their digging drills make effective close combat weapons as well.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Light Foot (Away +1/2, Slow -1/2, Ranged Attack +1): 4 pts each
+3/+2, missile attack +2, missile defense +3, move 4 MU
Underground creatures can be huge and horrible. And some can be trained. Gricks are one of those.
The best representation for these forces in Fantasy Triumph is:
Cataphract (Away +1/2, Fierce -1/2): 4 pts each
+4/+4, missile defense +3, move 4 MU
These figures are repainted D&D plastic figures. They make great Chthonians.
The MonPoc figures are mostly lacking in appropriate command or special vehicles that would work for Heroes in Fantasy Triumph; the only one I've found is to use a single Grinder Tank. Eventually I'll find some 15mm or 6mm vehicles that scream "Underground Dwellers!" to me, but so far, nothing.
